Reservations at the MOULIN ROUGE

On 6 October 1889, in time for the opening of the World's Fair in Paris, an event took place that completely changed people's idea of nightlife: the “Red Mill” – the Moulin Rouge cabaret – opened its doors.

The Moulin Rouge in Paris is something between a museum and a nightclub. Its interior is striking, with extravagant combinations of different styles – Eastern and European, avant-garde and surrealist. It was here that the famous French cancan was first performed.

Today the cabaret presents the revue “Féerie”, featuring 80 dancers, around 1000 costumes and lavish sets. “Féerie” is considered the Moulin Rouge's most successful show of the past century! We invite you, too, to see this fantastic spectacle!

Reservations at the LIDO cabaret

When the Frenchmen Joseph and Louis Clérico took over the Lido after the war, they transformed it into a cabaret unlike any other in the world, with an interior inspired by Venice and the luxurious beaches of the Lido.

Since 1946 the Lido cabaret and its shows have been an integral part of the nightlife of the French and of thousands of visitors from abroad!

One number follows another, creating a dazzling show of music, costumes, smiles and grace – the magical fountain, a real ice rink and all kinds of special effects will stay in your memory for a long time! And then there are the sumptuous costumes of the Bluebell Girls and the original menu of the Lido's chef, Philippe Lacroix.

You can also see with your own eyes how a show is created: if you wish, begin your visit with a backstage tour. With a guide, you will visit the areas used by the dancers, costume makers, the whole technical team and the directors who bring the Lido's 26th revue, “Bonheur”, to the stage every evening. After this vivid and unforgettable tour you will go through to the auditorium to watch the show.

Reservations at the Crazy Horse cabaret

12 avenue George V – 75008 Paris

Since the Paris cabaret opened in 1951, more than 15 million spectators have visited the Crazy Horse, among them a great many celebrities.

A distinctive feature of the Crazy Horse is the way its dancers are selected. They had to meet a very strict set of physical criteria that later became the cabaret's recognisable “signature”: tall stature, slenderness, a toned figure, a general similarity of features and even the size and shape of the bust. Today the cabaret employs 45 dancers from 15 countries.

Even more than looks, the cabaret's founder Alain Bernardin valued his performers' energy and their ability to captivate an audience. He raised the art of undressing to an art form, and learned to dress his girls just as artfully… in light. The lighting and technical effects at the Crazy Horse form a world of their own that never fails to delight audiences. In every number Alain paid particular attention to the grotesque, which, like the subtlest humour, is present in each one.

Reservations at the PARADIS LATIN cabaret

The Paradis Latin hall is part of Paris's historic heritage. Its foundations were laid as early as the twelfth century, and in 1802 Napoleon Bonaparte, then First Consul of France, decided to build a theatre on the very spot where a hundred years earlier there had stood a fortification known as the Wall of Philippe Auguste. He named it the Théâtre Latin.

The Paradis Latin cabaret stands on the Left Bank of the Seine in the heart of the Latin Quarter, close to Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Panthéon. The 600-seat hall was built to a design by Gustave Eiffel (the same Eiffel who designed the Eiffel Tower). The show unfolds not only on stage but in the auditorium too, with around 80 dancers taking part.

All the Paradis Latin's shows, including the latest, “Paradis à la Folie”, remain true to the spirit of Paris. The legendary Paradis Latin theatre, with its unique atmosphere, offers a superb show and fine cuisine – in short, everything for an unforgettable evening at the oldest cabaret in Paris!

Opera just for you: Bel Canto restaurant

72, quai de l'Hôtel de Ville, 75004 Paris

The windows of Bel Canto (Italian for “beautiful singing”) offer a stunning view of the Seine embankment, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Île Saint-Louis.

The defining feature of this restaurant is opera. A Baroque interior, heavy drapes, warm tones, period costumes, posters of legendary operas, musical instruments... But that is not all: from 20:15 until midnight the waiters periodically turn into a quartet of real opera singers – soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor and baritone – accompanied by a piano.

An atmosphere of art, talent and passion reigns here. The performers' eyes sparkle; they are young, full of enthusiasm and generous with their talent. The restaurant was originally conceived for young singers – students and those just starting their careers – but many who are already established in the profession keep coming back to take part in the concerts.

You will undoubtedly enjoy dinner at Bel Canto in the company of Verdi, Mozart or Puccini, paired with exquisite cuisine. Towards the end of the evening the audience always has the chance to “sing along” with the performers.
